形態特徵

• An undershrub, about 60 cm high, with very slender procumbent woody branches, finely downy on young parts.
• Leaves simple; blades subcoriaceous, the upper surface glabrous, the lower surface pubescent, ovate or oblong-lanceolate, 4–6 cm long, 1.5–2 cm wide, acute at the apex; petioles usually 1.5–2 cm long, pubescent; stipules lanceolate, 5 mm long, acuminate, persistent. Pseudoracemes terminal, more than 10 cm long;
• Flowers 1–2, remotely arranged; pedicels 1–1.5 cm long, puberulous; calyx 2 mm long, pubescent, the teeth deltoid; corolla 4–5 mm long, pink.
• Pods 4–6 cm long, 2 mm wide, pendulous, 4–8-jointed, constricted on both sutures, each segment 1.5–2 cm long, fusiform, with raised conspicuous reticulations.

分布

• 台灣 : Taiwan, in the wet and semi-shaded place, always at the margin of forest, at elevation between 500 and 1,000 m high, in the northern and eastern parts.
• 世界 : India, Ceylon, Burma, Thailand, Indo-China, Malaysia, Java, the Philippines and southern China;
